1) Petition: Vous faites partie des 3535 signataires de la petition sur \u00ab Ibni Oumar Mahamat Saleh \u00bb
(https:\/\/www.univ-orleans.fr\/prixibni<\/a>) Il y a 11 ans, le 3 fevrier, Ibni Oumar Mahamat Saleh a ete
enleve a son domicile a N’Djamena par des forces armees. Il est presque certainement mort dans les
jours suivants. Nous ne pouvons oublier, nous voulons connaitre les circonstances de sa mort, et que
justice soit faite.

2) Prix Ibni: Le Prix Ibni http:\/\/www.univ-orleans.fr\/prixIbni<\/a> a ete redefini et est devenu un prix
de these, decerne a deux laureat.e.s tous les deux ans
http:\/\/www.univ-orleans.fr\/prixIbni\/description<\/a>.\u00a0\u00a0 En 2018, les laureats sont\u00a0 Ibrahima\u00a0 Hamidine
(Niger) et El Hadji Abdoulaye Thiam (Senegal). Voir

Prix Ibni sera de nouveau d\u00e9cern\u00e9 en 2020.

3) Souscription: La souscription pour le Prix Ibni est d\u00e9sormais recueillie par l’Association pour
la Promotion de la Science en Afrique http:\/\/www.scienceafrique.fr\/<\/a> Pour les modalit\u00e9s de dons a
l’APSA, les informations se trouvent ici, http:\/\/www.scienceafrique.fr\/2.html<\/a> Pensez-bien a preciser
“Prix Ibni” si vous leur faites un don pour la souscription. Vous pouvez egalement adh\u00e9rer \u00e0 l’APSA
tout en souscrivant au Prix Ibni. Dans ce cas, merci d’ indiquer le montant consacre au Prix Ibni et
le montant consacre \u00e0 votre adh\u00e9sion. Si vous etes contribuable en France vous recevrez un re\u00e7u
fiscal.

Dear friends,

1) Petition. You are one of the 3535 signatories of the petition for “Ibni Oumar Mahamat Saleh
“(https:\/\/www.univ-orleans.fr\/en\/prixibni<\/a>) There will be eleven years on February 3 since Ibni Oumar
Mahamat Saleh was abducted from his home in N’Djamena by armed forces. He died almost certainly soon
after. We cannot forget this, we want to know the circumstances of his death, we want justice to be
done.

2) Ibni Prize. The Ibni Prize (https:\/\/www.univ-orleans.fr\/en\/prixibni<\/a>) has been redesigned. It
becomes a thesis\u2019 prize and is awarded to two persons every two years
(https:\/\/www.univ-orleans.fr\/en\/prixibni\/description<\/a>). The awardees\u00a0 of the 2018 Ibni Prizes are
Ibrahima Hamidine (Niger) and El Hadji Abdoulaye Thiam (Senegal). See:

The next Ibni Prize will be awarded in 2020.

3) Subscription. The subscription for the Ibni Prize is now collected by APSA (Association pour la

http:\/\/www.scienceafrique.fr\/2.html<\/a> how to make a donation. If you make a donation for the Ibni
Prize subscription, make sure to specify “for the Ibni Prize”. You may also want to become a
member of APSA. In that case, indicate the amount for your membership and the amount for the Ibni
Prize. You will get a tax receipt for the French income tax deduction.<\/p>\n
