enleve a son domicile a N’Djamena par des forces armees. Il est presque certainement mort dans les
jours suivants. Nous ne pouvons oublier, nous voulons connaitre les circonstances de sa mort, et que
justice soit faite.
2) Prix Ibni: Les trois societes de mathematiques francaises, SFdS, SMAI et SMF\u00a0 ont cree en 2009 un
prix Ibni Oumar Mahamat Saleh, a sa memoire. Il a ete attribue tous les ans a un jeune mathematicien
ou une jeune mathematicienne d\u2019’Afrique Centrale ou d\u2019\u2019Afrique de l\u2019Ouest et finance
un sejour scientifique de quelques mois.\u00a0 Les laureats 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 et 2015
etaient Oumarou Abdou Arbi, nigerien, Amadou Tall, senegalais, Solym Mawaki Sanou Abi, togolais, El
Hadji Deme, senegalais, Koffi Wilfrid Houedanou, togolais, David Jaures Fotsa Mbogne, camerounais et
Valaire Yatat Djeumen, camerounais. Le Prix Ibni a ete redefini et devient un prix de these. Il sera
decerne a deux laureats tous les deux ans.\u00a0 La campagne du Prix Ibni 2018 est maintenant ouverte.

1) Petition. You are one of the 3532 signatories of the\u00a0 petition for “Ibni Oumar Mahamat Saleh “
(https:\/\/www.univ-orleans.fr\/en\/prixibni<\/a>)\u00a0 There will be ten years on February 3 since Ibni Oumar
Mahamat Saleh was abducted from his home in N’Djamena by armed forces. He died almost certainly soon
after. We cannot forget this, we want to know the circumstances of his death, we want justice to be
done.
2) Ibni Prize. The three French Mathematical Societies, SFdS, SMAI and SMF have created in 2009 the
prize Ibni Oumar Mahamat Saleh in his memory. It has been awarded annually to a young mathematician
of Central or West Africa and has been funding a scientific visit of\u00a0 a few months every year since
2009 until 2015. The awardees\u00a0 of the 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 et 2015 Ibni Prizes were
respectively Oumarou Abdou Arbi from Niger, Amadou Tall from Senegal, Solym Mawaki Sanou Abi from
Tog, El Hadji Deme from Senegal, Koffi Wilfrid Houedanou from Togo, David Jaures Fotsa Mbogne, from
Cameroon and Valaire Yatat Djeumen from Cameroon.\u00a0 The prize has been redefined. It becomes a
thesis\u2019 prize and will be awarded to two persons every two years. The campaign for the 2018 Ibni
Prize is now open. Instructions to candidates are available on
