Higher-spin gauge theories in D=2+1Andrea Campoleoni (Albert Einstein Institute, Golm, Germany)

Résumé :
In D=2+1 a finite number of tensor fields of arbitrary rank can be coupled to gravity, and the interactions are described by a Chern-Simons action. The opportunity to work with a finite number of fields and the simplicity of the action make these models significantly simpler than higher-spin gauge theories in D>3. I will review how these simplifications allow one to characterize exact solutions and asymptotic symmetries in presence of a negative cosmological constant. I will also briefly comment on the proposed duality between three-dimensional higher-spin gauge theories and minimal model CFT's with W_N x W_N symmetry.
