Braneworld cosmology at the IRChristos Charmousis (Univ. d'Orsay)

Résumé :
Supernovae data indicate that the universe has entered a phase of late-time acceleration. After reviewing the theoretical possibilities to explain this we will consider a general setup for a 5 dimensional braneworld and scan the parameter space of the theory for possible stable and late-time accelerating cosmologies. We will discuss the resulting cosmologies.
