A gas of fermionic quasi-particles is defined on lattice paths by combinatorial rules. For a family of integrable models, we argue that an energy-preserving bijection exists such that zeros of transfer matrix eigenvalues behave as the combinatorial gas of quasi-particles. At the scaling limit, exact thermodynamic Bethe Ansatz equations are derived and solved for all states of the models. A CFT interpretation of these quasi-particles is suggested.
