Thursday 28 February 2019 10:45 -  Tours -  Salle 1180 (Bât E2)

Résumé :
In this talk, I will present various mathematical models of reaction-diffusion type that can be used to study spatialized problems of evolutionary biology, population dynamics and epidemiology. In the first part, I will talk about competition-diffusion systems used to study evolution of dispersal or niche segregation. In the second part, I will talk about mutation-competition-diffusion systems used to study spatial sorting in expanding populations. In the third part, I will talk about a predator-prey system used to study the possibility of brake-driven gene drive reversal.
