Séminaire d'Analyse

Dynamical Systems in Pharmaceutical Science
L. Peletier
Thursday 31 January 2008 11:15 -  Tours -  Salle 2290 (Bât E2)

Résumé :
In recent years pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics have become important instruments in the data analysis of biological systems and in making predictions of the impact of drugs on physiological processes. In this lecture we review models that have proved effective in the analysis of such phenomena as tolerance to drug treatment, and the study of the glucose-insulin system. Such dynamical systems are mathematically interesting and challenging because of the special emphasis of the pharmacist on specific properties of solution graphs.
