Entanglement entropy in QFT's and holography
Dmitry Fursaev (University of Dubna)
Tuesday 23 October 2012 12:45 -  Tours -  Salle 1180 (Bât E2)

Résumé :
The aim of this talk is to present new results in studying quantum entanglement of degrees of freedom across a surface in QFT models and to discuss a holographic representation of the corresponding entropies in AdS gravities. The topics to be covered include computation of entanglement and entanglement R\'{e}nyi entropies (with the emphasis on 4D conformal ${\cal N}=4$ super Yang-Mills theory), boundary effects in the entropies (when the entangling surface crosses the physical boundary of the system), and possibility of a holographic description of the R\'{e}nyi entropies.
