Résumé :
In this talk, we are going to discuss the role of nonperturbative gluons in the study of QCD under extreme conditions. In the first part, we will focus on the finite temperature aspect, and evaluate the equation of state of a hot Yang-Mills gas using the Gribov quantization. The magnetic scale is automatically incorporated in the framework and we find it efficient to stabilize the perturbative expansion of the free energy. In the temperature range T=1-2Tc major uncertainty in our result comes from the nonperturbative running coupling that is adopted from the lattice simulation, while the convergence above 2Tc is impressively robust. We also present the corresponding interaction measure (i.e. trace anomaly) up to close to Tc. In the second part, we will move on to QCD in a strong magnetic field (B), and briefly address the role of nonperturbative gluons in the quark mass gap. We show that for QCD force with strong IR enhancement, the quark mass gap behaves (almost) B-field independently ~ Lambda_QCD, which could provide a direct explanation for the linear-rising chiral condensate observed on the lattice simulation.
