Linearized Fuel-Optimal Space rendezvous: some theoretical and numerical aspects
Aude Rondepierre (Toulouse)
Thursday 10 April 2014 14:00 -  Orléans -  Salle de Séminaire

Résumé :
In this talk we will present some theoretical and numerical results for the optimal fuel impulsive time-fixed rendezvous problem using indirect methods. After a short introduction to the impulsive optimal control rendezvous problem, we focus on indirect approaches using the primer vector theory. In a linear setting the rendezvous problem may be reformulated as a non convex polynomial optimization problem for a fixed number of impulses. Optimality conditions using the so-called primer vector, are first recalled and then, two different algorithms are presented. Realistic rendezvous missions will illustrate this presentation. Collaboration with Denis Arzelier and Romain Serra (MAC group, LAAS Toulouse).
