Résumé :
Contrarily to the situation in (d+1)-dimensional anti-de Sitter (AdS) space where the dictionary between unitary irreducible representations (UIRs) of its isometry algebra so(2,d) and massless mixed-symmetry fields is well established, such a correspondence in de Sitter (dS) space remains elusive. Taking the flat limit of these mixed-symmetry fields in AdS is also known to produce a tower of massless fields in flat space, described by the Brink-Metsaev-Vasiliev mechanism. Using characters of the dS isometry algebra, we propose a dictionary between so(1,d+1) UIRs and massless mixed-symmetry fields in (d+1)-dimensional de Sitter space, and investigate the flat limit of these massless fields, thereby proposing a BMV mechanism in dS.
