Confinement in QCD: a short overview

Résumé :
This is a short overview of a confinement problem and related non-perturbative phenomena in QCD. The talk is inclined towards (but not limited to) lattice QCD. We discuss signatures and effective theories of color confinement, string formation, string breaking, finite temperature/density effects etc.
