Nonlinear Fourier transform and the Beltrami equation

Résumé :
Beltrami equation has its roots in complex analysis and quasiconformal geometry, but its role in elliptic PDE's has grown equally important. In this talk we give an overview of recent connections to mathematical applications and impedance tomography, through the nonlinear Fourier transform associated with the Beltrami equation.
