Reduced models for superstrings on AdS_n \times S^n'

Résumé :
I review the Pohlmeyer reduction of the coset sigma models and show how it can be generalized to the case of the superstring sigma model on AdS_n x S^n for n=2,3,5. In this case it gives a gauged WZW model with an integrable potential coupled to 2d fermions. In particular, in the simplest case of AdS_2 x S^2 the reduction gives the N=2 susy sine-Gordon model. The reduced model can be thought of as version of nonlinear light-cone gauge of the original superstring sigma model.
