Gap probabilities and tau functions
Mattia Cafasso (Angers)
Friday 13 January 2012 14:00 -  Tours -  Salle 1180 (Bât E2)

Résumé :
I will present a general approach for the study of gap probabilities in random processes through the theory of tau functions. Examples will include the Airy and Pearcey processes, both in the one time case (random matrices) and in the multi-time case (non-intersecting Brownian motions). All the results come from joint works with Marco Bertola.
